Welcome to the webpage of Commonwealth Psychological
Services, PLC (CPS)
and the treatment team of Dr. Audie Gaddis, Ph.D. FGICPP, Jessica James, CSP,
CBIS, and Tom Tybeck, LPC. Our objectives are to provide caring assessment,
treatment, and cognitive training and rehabilitation services to help
individuals and couples experience a
greater sense of well-being and grow towards their full potential.
We try to provide
a sense of safety, acceptance and empathy
from the CPS
staff. We also recognize that we can only accomplish
these objectives if our clients open themselves to
becoming more self-aware and motivated to grow.
Self-discovery opens the pathway to growth and this may
occur in therapy, testing, or in our brain fitness
program. We offer a full range of
services including psychotherapy, psychological and
neuropsychological assessments, and specialized
assessments for learning disabled, gifted children, and
people who may have experienced brain injuries
CPS is a corporate
member of the Brain Injury Association of Virginia.
Moreover, Dr. Gaddis has extensive experience in working
with people of all ages from children through senior
adults. We offer a unique Driver assessment and
training program to support safe driving. In
addition we offer a broad array of pre-employment
testing including corporate, consulting, and career
counseling. Our senior adult program provides age
appropriate and respectful services at our office,
retirement community, or their home.
After several years of research
and pilot studies, CPS has launched a sister company, CPS NeuroCare, LLC,
devoted to group and individual cognitive (brain)
training and rehabilitation. Through our special
alliance with a world leader in cognitive training, CogniFit® we can offer clients and other health care providers
evidence-based brain fitness products at special rates.
If our programs may be of help to you, please contact us for
an appointment. We are a provider for most of the major health plans in this
area including Medicare. In addition, we offer affordable payment plans for
those who choose to self-pay. Unfortunately, we are not a Medicaid
provider.
Help yourself to coffee or tea in our reception area
and enjoy the paintings by Mia LaBerge, a local artist with a national reputation for her
artistic skills. You'll find that our office manager, Jess Gallaro, will
greet you with a warm smile, assist you with registration, and answer questions you may have about our practice.
